It is a wonderful computer. Granted, it is not my main machine (Which actually happens to be a mac pro) it is one of the best computers I have ever owned. Most of the brands you mentioned do have guarantees, and they are usually great computers ESPECIALLY Toshiba. The fact that macs do not have viruses is incorrect. I am a mac user, and love my mac but I also like the truth. My Macbook Air has had a trojan before. Windows has started having multitouch (Lenovo thinkpad X1 Carbon is the best example), and windows is plenty east. Remember the regular macbook (2009)? That was made of cheap plastic that scratched too easily. You can build an i7 machine for about 3.2 ghz for about 800. I built an i3 machine running at 3.4 ghz for only 400 dollars. So please, try to be less biased and more truthful. Because Fellow Mac users that turn into blatant fanboys with a skewed vision of reality drive me nuts.

Re: 50 Reasons to Switch From Mac to PC

I was always a Windows' user and truth too be told the first time I ever used Mac was on studies three years ago. They were free to use for students so I gave it a shot, I mean why not? People says Macs are amazing and easy to use.

Damn, that was a whole new experience and I can't say it was for good. After three years I still can't get used to the interface (it's just... much much more different), to the unusual keyboard (I use a lots of short-cuts and you probably know what does it mean) and these mouses from hell. Yes, I won't complain about OSX nor the hardware, which is alien to me so I can't really say anything about it, but about the freaking mouses. How such big company like Apple cannot make their own mouses work nice? They are too slow, you can't use right-click unless you customise it and their nice minimalistic design was really confusing. When I saw them for the first time I was wondering if I can click it without breaking it because I didn't really see what am I pressing. After first clicking I was sure I have no reason to worry, because I had to try really hard to click anything. Is something blocking them? It was suppose to be so difficult?... Now I'm always use a mouse from my laptop. At least it's working fine and OSX seems to take it.

Anyway after the experience with OSX from Mordor I must say I will stay with the Windows from Hell. Maybe it is really from hell but it's from my own, well known hellish place ;)

Oh, and in my country I can't really buy any games for Mac so... yes, Windows.

Re: 50 Reasons to Switch From Mac to PC

Well, tell me, did anyone else here say that? No they didn't! And! In your first comment you said, and I quote "
See... this is the annoying thing about you PC ppl..." But the recent malware threats like the SapPub etc. have made Mac susceptible to intrusions of malwares. In Mac, these malwares are capable of causing serious damage to the data. I read an article that suggested that SapPub trojan is a data theft malware. Considering this, many, mac users will now shift their focus to install trusted Mac anit-virus. I personally got Sophos installed in :). Just protecting my valuable data from getting malwared. However, other options to protect the data in Mac are using a Mac cloning software, image the mac hard drive or use a 3rd party Stellar Mac file recovery tool.

Re: 50 Reasons to Switch From Mac to PC

I agree with most of what was said in this article. With that said....I still love my Mac.

A Mac:

Is it as easy to use...No
Is it as powerful (can it do as much)....No
Is it less expensive...Heck No
Is it as customizable...No
Is it as easy to get help....No
Can you ask for help online from a Mac expert without getting ridiculed...No
Is there easy expandability...No
Are Macs Malware free....No

I admit all of this, as I have not fallen prey to the Apple or nothing mentality.

With that said....I still find myself going back to my Mac. I can't tell you why, but I do, and I care not what computer someone else uses. Use whatever you like.BTW....."'Nuff said" does not validate an argument, it just shows you are in middle school.

Re: 50 Reasons to Switch From Mac to PC

That comment was a response to this: lol typical mac fan boy, tell me little hipster did you cried when the king of hipsters died? or was his death too mainstream? Let's compare the HP's first. They have the EXACT same specs, but one is $150 more... why?

The Sony's... OH MY FREAKING GOD... The $500 has an i5 with 4GB of ram, and the $1800 has i7 with 4GB of ram... HMMMMM WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? A better graphics card? Throw on $300 for the difference of that, and the processor, throw on another $200 difference... What is left in that $800 gap? Little things like battery life, design/erganomics, materials to make it... OH WAIT... that's exactly what you guys said the MacBook Pro's fail at... well compared to that $1800 Sony, the Pro is worth it... I got mine for cheaper than that WITH warranty (which is cheaper from Apple too, by the way)

Re: 50 Reasons to Switch From Mac to PC

WHAT AN AWESOME ARGUMENT!!!
